I have had the opportunity of spending most of my day out on the water, testing some of my favorite clean beauty products to see if they can really take the heat (both literally and figuratively).

On the Face
To begin, I primed my skin with the Anti-Pollution Primer from Grown Alchemist. I absolutely adore how this primer seals in my pores and protects me from anything yucky in the outside world.

Next, I covered only my blemishes and under my eyes with the Un Cover-Up concealer from RMS Beauty in shade 00. Whenever I’m using any face make up, it’s incredibly important for me to let my skin show through, so I only want to cover the spots that I actually want to hide!

I’ll follow up with a touch of Cream Blush by Kjaer Weis in the shade Reverence. I love how this product’s smooth, creamy texture blends right into my skin and gives my cheeks a little natural lift. It works well for my skin in all seasons, whether it’s humid and hot or dry and cold. Next, I’ll take a brush and blend some of the Kjaer Weis Powder Bronzer in the shade Bask to build a soft, gentle glow to my face. Sometimes, I’ll use this bronzer in the crease of my eyes as well to create a seamless look.

After bronzer, my next step is usually brows. I’ll apply the Essential Brow Gel by ILIA Beauty in shade Blonde to add some definition. To ensure my brows stay in place (and my only step if I want a way natural look), I swipe the Aloe Gel Lash and Brow Mascara by Ere Perez Cosmetics over my brows.

Finally, for glow, I start by gently press some Cream Highlighter by Kjaer Weis in the shade Radiance. I absolutely love this highlighter for my skin tone, plus it’s allergy-friendly! It’s also wonderful on the eyes for a no-make up, make up look.

On the Eyes
First, I started with sweeping the Loose Mineral Eyeshadow by Alima Pure in the shade Chai all over my lid. I love this product because you can use your finger or a brush to apply, depending on how much pigmentation you want!

For the crease, I went in with the shade Guilty Swift Shadow from the Hidden Desire palette from RMS Beauty. I love how this color brings out my blue eyes.

To define my eyes a bit more, I’ll add a dab of the Alima Pure Loose Mineral Eyeshadow in shade Champagne on the center of my lid and the inner corners of my eyes. This little trick gives your eyes a bit more of a 3D look by playing with the light.

Next, the lashes. It’s so important, my darlings, to protect your lashes when you are applying mascara regularly. A lash primer (a natural one, if you can!) coats the lashes and protects them, priming them for the mascara to go on smoothly. Lash primer can also give your lashes a bit of added strength and length, too! I absolutely love the Lashfood Conditioning Collagen Lash Primer. It’s been a fav of mine for years.

My recent favorite for waterproof mascara has been the Avocado Waterproof Mascara by Ere Perez Cosmetics. I love how this mascara, combined with the primer, makes my lashes look like I somehow, naturally, just woke up with these glorious, lush lashes. I also really appreciate how this mascara does not irritate my eyes at all, especially since my eye area is so sensitive.

On the Lips
I always like to prep my lips with something clear that’s going to pack a punch of hydration to my pout. My current favorite for this purpose has been the Lipfuel Hyaluronic Lip Balm by Kosas in shade Baseline, which is a clean, clear balm.

To add a bit of definition to my lips, I like to go in with my Kjaer Weis Lip Pencil in Rose.

To finish off, I’ll dab my Luxury Lip Tint by Henné Organics in the shade Intrigue! This shade gives your lips the perfect, just-bitten, luscious look while hydrating with clean ingredients.

To set my make up, I like to keep it simple! I find my skin freaks out if I stray too far from my cult fav, the White Rose Hydrosol Spray from Mountain Rose Herbs. I adore how this gives my skin a hydrated, dewy glow!
